I made an account just to say how good this is. This is probably going to be what finally pushes me into reading Frankenstein. There's stuff I want to call out about why, but I don't want anyone who hasn't used the character creator yet to read it. Just have some fun being Victor and then read the Artist's Statement when you're fully done the experience.

asked this below, but i may as well pose the question to multiple people: seems like a lot of people found the game about a month ago. was it linked somewhere, or was there another reason for the number of eyes on it...? (if you know, of course)

oh, I believe I saw it on some category feature here on Itch, but can't super remember exactly where :S sorry it's not that helpful hehe but again, lovely stuff :)
I absolutely loved this - so well-thought out and brilliantly realised. The sound design is impeccable, and I love the way the buttons for different body parts gradually fade in. The artist's statement was lovely to read, as well.
